Healing happens in many different moments, with many conversations, with the willingness to doubt your own beliefs and to adopt new ones. It happens sitting in the discomfort of your heavier emotions. Sometime it happens through suffering and requires implementing many simple acts of loving kindness towards yourself. I work on my growth incessantly. I perceive it as a responsibility as a human being if I can contribute to the world as a bigger picture and to the people I meet in my path as a smaller picture if I am a more balanced Self. I do many little, different things that aide to have a sense of fullness and richness within me and I keep changing them as the mind is tricky and often needs different input to stay alert in the journey of creating wellbeing. Lately my favorite one ( from @rickhansonphd) is to Deal with the bad, Turn towards the good and Take in the good to internalize the positive feelings. The part of my mind that wants to alert me of the dangers of the world is usually really active so in this way I sometime succeed in balancing my internal dialogue.
